Key Responsibilities

Branch Operations Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Implement and manage company standard operating procedures and departmental policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Monitor branch performance and implement improvement initiatives where required.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Drive sales growth through effective sales management and customer relationship strategies.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently maintained.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve escalated issues professionally.

Business Development & Client Liaison

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Represent the business professionally within the market and local community.

Financial Management

  • Manage customer credit control processes and ensure timely collections.
  • Oversee money collection procedures and banking activities.
  • Assist with financial planning and the preparation of annual branch budgets.
  • Monitor branch expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements.

Stock & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management processes.
  • Ensure company assets are properly maintained and safeguarded.
  • Oversee the maintenance and roadworthiness of company vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop branch employees.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Manage staff discipline and employee relations in accordance with company policies.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and accountable working environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Qualification in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ management experience within a similar industry.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong business development and sales management experience.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Navision will be advantageous.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (spoken, written, and read).
  • Additional vernacular language proficiency will be advantageous.
  • Well-presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong administrative, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
