About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic, operational and administrative support to our business in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end HR management, with expertise in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Talent Management: Managing the recruitment process (advertising, interviewing, pre-onboarding & onboarding)
- Employee Pipeline development: Managing the performance management, ill health and incapacity process and administration
- Monitoring and reporting on workforce and succession planning
- Training all new Managers on applicable HR systems
- Enrol all new employees on the LMS and EMS System
- People & Policies: Managing relationships with management, employees, external and internal stakeholders
- Aligning employees to business objectives to support the HR business partner methodology
- Promoting a sound employee relations climate
- Managing disciplinary hearings
- Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to improve work relationships, build morale and increase overall employee productivity
- Conducting and providing feedback/insights on employee exit surveys
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Submission of Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting for relevant Management teams and forums
- Providing accurate, timely and comprehensive reporting including business improvement recommendations
- Continuously analyzing employee trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
Requirements
- 3-5 years HR generalist experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology/Relations
- Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Psychology/Relations will be highly advantageous
- Thorough knowledge and application of applicable labour legislation
