George: Marketing Manager

About the Role

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of national marketing and brand strategy, driving business growth through effective campaign planning and execution. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, performance metrics, and the South African consumer market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national marketing and brand strategy
• Lead annual and seasonal campaign planning and execution oversight
• Ensure consistent brand identity across all locations and platforms
• Manage and develop internal marketing team members
• Oversee external partners including agencies and freelancers
• Support franchisees with marketing toolkits, campaigns, and launch readiness
• Plan and deliver national campaigns and promotional initiatives
• Oversee digital marketing performance, analytics, and reporting
• Drive customer engagement through loyalty and retention strategies
• Identify PR, partnership, and brand growth opportunities
• Manage marketing budgets and track ROI

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in marketing, preferably in Retail / Hospitality & Franchise or multi-location environments. Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies. Strong leadership and team management capability. Experience managing external agencies and service providers. Solid understanding of digital marketing and performance metrics. Strong understanding of the South African consumer market.
