About the Role

Our client, a well-established specialist in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-quality automated poultry equipment and replacement parts, is seeking a Storeman to manage their warehouse and storage facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching specialized equipment parts, while maintaining 100% record accuracy within the digital inventory system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of inventory, from receiving and inspection to final dispatch.
  • Update and maintain accurate records using the Omni inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify and report on inventory levels, potential shortages, or slow-moving stock.
  • Organize and optimize storage space for various poultry equipment components and replacement parts.
  • Ensure the warehouse facility remains clean, safe, and organized in line with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely dispatch of goods to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Storeman or in a similar warehouse management role.
  • Hands-on experience with the Omni inventory/accounting system is highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control processes (receiving, bin locations, and dispatch).
  • Strong computer literacy and numerical skills.
  • Experience in an engineering or technical parts environment is a plus.
