About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations team at Wild Dreams Hospitality’s premier safari lodge. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all lodge infrastructure, facilities, and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across lodge facilities and infrastructure
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning units
- Conduct electrical maintenance including fault finding, repairs, and installations
- Perform plumbing maintenance including pipework, pumps, and water reticulation systems
- Maintain reverse osmosis and water purification systems
- Service and maintain borehole systems, water pumps, and water distribution infrastructure
- Carry out welding, steel fabrication, and minor structural repairs where required
- Perform masonry, building repairs, and basic groundworks
- Conduct general handyman duties including carpentry, repairs, and facility upkeep
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to identify maintenance requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in lodge maintenance, facility maintenance, or similar operational environments
- Strong practical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical work, and plumbing maintenance
- Experience working with water systems including pumps and purification equipment
- Ability to perform basic welding, steel fabrication, and structural repairs
- Solid experience with general maintenance and handyman work
- Valid driver’s license
