Role Overview The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing Microsoft 365 services, enforcing access governance, maintaining IT General Controls (ITGCs), and ensuring audit readiness. The role also requires involvement in operational IT support to ensure business continuity when required. Key Responsibilities Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) within defined role boundaries Manage access governance, including user access provisioning, deprovisioning, and periodic access reviews Enforce least-privilege access principles across systems Maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs), including policies, procedures, and standards Oversee backup and recovery processes, including monitoring and escalation Manage and document change control processes Ensure audit log retention and readiness for internal and external audits Coordinate with vendors and service providers, including validation of invoices Report on risks, controls, and exceptions to the IT Manager Provide operational IT support when required, including during peak periods or staff shortages Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in IT, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity Minimum of 5 years relevant IT experience Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) Strong exposure to IT governance, access control, and audit environments Microsoft 365 certification (advantageous) Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of IT controls, risk, and compliance High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and planning abilities High level of integrity and accountability Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships Additional Requirements Willingness to be on standby (24/7/365) Ability to support operational IT functions when required
