About the Role
A well-established finance client is seeking a Compliance Officer with Manco compliance experience in an investment or asset management environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s regulatory compliance and providing expert advice on financial markets legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks
- Monitor and report on compliance performance metrics
Requirements
- Matric with Relevant tertiary qualification
- Diploma/Certificate in Compliance Management
- At least 3+ years’ Manco compliance experience in an investment or asset management environment
- Computer literate in MS Office (Compliance system development experience would be an advantage)
- Working knowledge and application experience of Financial Markets Legislation
