About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Training Facilitator to join our team in Cape Town, with a strong focus on delivering practical skills-based training within the clothing and textile sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transferring sewing skills to others and making an immediate impact in developing work-ready talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical, skills-based training within the clothing and textile sector
- Transfer sewing skills to learners
- Facilitate industry-specific training sessions
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs
- Engage diverse learners through effective communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Extensive practical sewing and clothing manufacturing experience (essential)
- Proven ability to train and transfer technical skills
- Experience working in the clothing manufacturing sector
- Facilitator/Assessor (FP&M SETA registered) advantageous
- Experience with learnerships and youth/unemployed learners advantageous
- Must be mobile with own transport
- Willing and able to travel extensively across South Africa (non-negotiable)
- Strong interpersonal skills
