About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Industrial Relations Specialist to join our team at Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) in Johannesburg. As an Industrial Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing dispute resolution, consulting with management and employees, and ensuring compliance with labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dispute resolution
- Consultative process between management and employees
- Control the industrial relations climate (all unions)
- Report all cases with financial impact to the CEO monthly
- IR report gathering and preparing CCMA documents
- Prepare for CCMA Matters
- Represent company at CCMA for all referred disputes
- Drafting of closing arguments, notices, affidavits, letters of demand, Con/Arb objections
- Management of CCMA cases and Labour Court Referrals
- Management of disciplinary cases
- Assessing merits of CCMA and Labour Court matters and providing advise
Requirements
- BCom Degree in Labour Law or Equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in Industrial Law/Labour Law
Qualifications
- Completed BCom degree in Labour Law
