About the Role

A Junior Restaurant Manager position has become available at an established restaurant in Germiston, and we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing both front and back of house operations, working closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aiding the General Manager in managing the entire restaurant operation
  • Overseeing staff management and implementing effective strategies
  • Maintaining strong customer relations through excellent communication skills
  • Managing stock control and ensuring efficient inventory management
  • Working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and targets

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in restaurant management
  • Proficiency in staff management and leadership skills

  • Expertise in stock control and inventory management

Qualifications

  • Formal education or relevant certification (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

  • R 10,000 – R 14,000 net per annum
