About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Generalist to join its Human Resources team in Sandton, Johannesburg North. As a hands-on professional, you will be responsible for managing both HR and payroll functions while ensuring full compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including coordination of interviews and completion of all pre-employment checks
- Drive employee performance management processes where required
- Support employee development through training, coaching, and skills initiatives
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee all HR administrative functions
- Manage the full payroll function, including processing, reconciliations, and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with SARS and Department of Labour requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to relevant labour legislation, including BCEA and LRA
- Coordinate and drive the full BBBEE process in collaboration with external consultants and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and submit Employment Equity reports and Work Skills Plans (WSP/ATR)
- Compile skills development documentation for relevant authorities
- Prepare HR reports for internal and international reporting requirements
- Manage industrial relations matters in consultation with external partners
- Support employee and employer wellness and engagement initiatives
- Ensure best practice HR governance and compliance across the business
- Respond to ad hoc requests from management and contribute to ongoing process improvements
Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Certification in VIP Payroll System
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar HR & Payroll Generalist role
