Job Description
Tiger Brands is seeking 5 x Electrical Engineering and 5 x Mechanical Engineering Trainees, who have completed their S4 studies and P1 training, and are looking to complete their P2 training.
Successful candidates will be placed within our Bakeries Business Unit for a 6-month in-service P2 training programme. Upon successful completion of the in-service training, trainees will be given an additional 6 month training contract.

What Youll Do
Participate in structured P2 in-service training within a manufacturing environment
Support maintenance and technical teams in day-to-day operational activities
Gain hands-on experience with production equipment and engineering systems
Assist with troubleshooting, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks
Learn how engineering functions support efficient plant operations
Work closely with experienced technicians, engineers, and supervisors
What You Bring
Completed S4 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Completed P1 training
Minimum overall academic average of 65%
Grade 12 or N3 qualification
Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum average of 65%
South African citizenship
Basic computer literacy
Strong motivation to learn and grow in a technical environment
Ability to commute daily to the assigned training site
Ideally between 18 and 29 years old with limited work experience
