About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs, budgets, and contracts on building and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cost estimating and budgeting for construction projects
- Analyze and interpret contract documents and agreements
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project compliance
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- 35 years of experience in building and civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and contracts
- Proficient in MS Excel and QS software
