About the Role

PBT Group is seeking a Senior Tester / QA Specialist with strong experience in card and payments environments, particularly with Base24 and related payment processing platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of complex transaction systems through structured testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for card and payments systems.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Validate system functionality related to Base24, Postilion, and other card processing platforms.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to analyse, prioritise, and resolve defects.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across transaction flows and system functionality.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, and results.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product teams to understand requirements.
  • Support UAT processes, assisting business stakeholders in validating system functionality.
  • Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
  • Contribute to improving testing methodologies and quality assurance standards.
  • Support initiatives to introduce or enhance automation testing practices where applicable.
