Company and Job Description: This opportunity is suited to a senior technology leader who can define direction, influence strategy and deliver high impact software solutions at scale. You will take full ownership of the software function, ensuring alignment between business goals, customer needs and technology delivery. Operating at executive level, you will guide multiple development teams, oversee complex project portfolios and drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the software development strategy, roadmap and vision aligned to business objectives Lead and develop software teams, including managers and technical leads, to build strong delivery capability Oversee the successful delivery of software projects ensuring quality, value and timeliness Establish development standards, governance frameworks and best practices across teams Manage budgets, forecasting and cost optimisation within the software function Monitor performance through defined metrics and report to executive leadership Engage with stakeholders and clients at senior level to support business growth and delivery outcomes Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field Postgraduate qualification or MBA is advantageous Minimum 10 years experience in software development At least 5 years in a senior leadership or director level role Proven experience leading multiple development teams across complex environments Strong background in software architecture and enterprise system integration Experience managing budgets and presenting to executive stakeholders and boards Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodologies Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align technology and business outcomes Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement across teams Apply Now!
