About the Role
Our client is a niche technology organisation that develops and supports specialised software solutions within a complex, data-intensive environment. As an SQL Developer & Support Consultant, you will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing, and optimising database-driven systems. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyse requirements, resolve issues, and develop efficient, high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
- Write and enhance stored procedures, functions, and views
- Analyse system issues and implement effective database-driven solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements
- Perform query optimisation and improve system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related errors and support queries
- Develop reports and reporting templates
