Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in setting up, managing, and optimizing their cloud environment. The IT Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their cloud infrastructure, ensuring its security, scalability, and performance. You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Microsoft Azure to improve our systems and collaborate with various teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Environment Setup and Management:
- Set up and configure cloud resources, services, and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Manage and maintain cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud resources, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor cloud resources and services, analyze performance metrics, and optimize costs and resource usage.
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance for troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation for cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Prepare regular reports on cloud system performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in managing and configuring Microsoft Azure environments.
- Proven experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud resources and services (e.g., virtual machines, networking, databases).
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and platforms, including but not limited to Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and DevOps tools.
- Proficiency in cloud automation and scripting (PowerShell, ARM templates, etc.).
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
