Johannesburg: Technical Principal Structures (Buildings) posted by Hire Resolve

An engineering, management and development consultancy based in Johannesburg is on the lookout for a Technical Principal Structures (Buildings) to join their team. The position will involve professional input to a range of projects including large multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate tasks and staff
• Provide support for the verification of subconsultants invoices
• Asses Contractors claims and draft recommendations/rulings
• Provide support in drafting & submitting of work authorizations
• Develop and maintain existing client relationships
• Assist in the financials and financial management
• Assist in winning and delivering projects and new work
• Mentoring graduates
• Submission of EOIs, RFQs, tenders and Proposals

Key Requirements:

• BEng degree/higher degree from an accredited university
• Minimum 20 years of practical experience in the relevant discipline
• Relevant Professional Registration
• Experience in Etabs, SAP2000, and SAFE will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA)
• Post graduate qualification in Structures will be advantageous
