About the Role

The Credit Controller II will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Gijima Holdings’ debtor portfolio through proactive credit control, stakeholder engagement, governance compliance, and strategic cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage allocated debtors portfolio in line with payment terms and collection targets.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue accounts.
  • Reduce aged debt and support cash flow optimisation initiatives.
  • Escalate unresolved accounts in accordance with governance procedures.
  • Contribute to working capital improvement initiatives.
  • Support monthly cash flow forecasting and collection planning.
  • Analyse collection trends and provide recommendations to management.
  • Drive proactive recovery strategies for long outstanding debt.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Diploma or Certificate in Credit Management, Finance, or Accounting (advantageous)

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a corporate credit control environment
  • Experience managing high-volume or high-value debtor accounts
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience within ICT or services industry advantageous
