About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to manage our team in the Promenade Shopping Centre in Mitchells Plain, leading our upmarket retail brand to achieve maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through effective leadership, world class service, and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and strategically drive results to ensure store achievements of maximum sales, productivity and profit goals
  • Create a vibrant, energetic store environment that motivates teams
  • Drive turnover to ensure achievement of targets
  • Effectively manage expenses and control stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with Company standards
  • Develop staff, manage employee relations, and perform performance management
  • Interpret and react to market trends in a timely fashion

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Store Manager / Assistant Manager preferably in a high-end fashion / apparel brand environment
  • Strong sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Must be sales focused with a proven sales track record
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to use own initiative
