About the Role

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas (Mpumalanga) is seeking a Finance Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of Dis-Chem Supplier Accounts, including daily and monthly invoice capture, reconciliation, and payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach daily and monthly invoice capture targets set by the MIRA Credit Supervisor
  • Process all invoices received in time for payments
  • Ensure correct details are provided on invoices, including Legal Entity, Vendor number, Vat, and Vat number
  • Send workflow queries to stores and follow up on responses
  • Resolve outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliation
  • Follow up on queries raised on accounts
  • Communicate with creditors regarding correct vendor numbers and payment dates of vendors
  • Give regular feedback and updates to the Invoice Credit Supervisor
  • Maintain cordial lines of communication with suppliers and Dis-Chem Departments

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience working in accounts
  • Relevant Finance Qualification SAP, BEST, and Readsoft experience (advantageous)
  • Experience working in an accounts department
