About the Role
Auto Pedigree is seeking an experienced Manager: Branch to lead our Acornhoek branch, driving branch performance targets and advancing our business interests in the area. We are looking for a seasoned leader with strong business acumen and operations management experience to maximize gross profit and unit sales, while ensuring compliance with retail industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the branch maximizes gross profit and meets unit sales, Rand sales, and 2nd gross targets
- Working closely with the F&I Manager to ensure adherence to financial and insurance requirements
- Managing stock and asset levels to optimize inventory management
- Communicating procedural requirements to Branch personnel and ensuring implementation
- Forwarding required reports in a timely manner
- Conducting monthly staff meetings to discuss branch performance, local marketing activities, business opportunities, weaknesses, and countermeasures
- Ensuring efficient F&I administrative functions and compliance by Branch personnel
- Providing training on internal courses and on-the-job training to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Carrying out performance appraisals as required
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in business management or operations
- Grade 12 NCA qualification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer literacy
- Understanding of compliance governing the retail industry (an advantage)
