About the Role
As a Workshop Administrator at Express Employment Professionals Midrand, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our workshop facilities. You will be responsible for managing tools and equipment, ensuring maintenance and compliance, providing reporting and data management support, and performing administrative tasks to support workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain basic knowledge of workshop tools and their applications.
- Capture and update tool information in the Kerridge system.
- Conduct regular tool stock takes and generate reports.
- Manage bookings for plant and equipment, including booking in and out processes.
- Schedule and monitor maintenance and service requirements for plant and equipment.
- Maintain accurate plant and asset registers.
- Track and monitor equipment certification status (calibrations, load tests, validations).
- Prepare weekly data reports for management.
- Compile diesel reconciliation and consumption reports.
- Provide clear, accurate records to support operational decision-making.
- Collect and process workshop orders in line with operational needs.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tools and equipment.
- Perform general administrative duties to support workshop operations.
- Assist with filing, record-keeping, and document control.
- Provide communication support between workshop staff, management, and external parties.
