Semi Skilled Boilermaker
Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 – 6 years experience)
Type: Permanent
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Boilermaking & Fabrication
- Assist with cutting, grinding, shaping, and assembling metal components for vehicles.
- Perform basic welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) for repairs and fabrication.
- Support in fabrication of custom parts and mounting plates.
- Conduct metal preparation and repair various vehicle parts.
- Ensure work meets safety, durability, and quality standards.
- General Vehicle Maintenance Support
- Assist mechanics with basic servicing tasks and minor repairs on vehicles.
- Support inspection of vehicle frames and installation of accessories.
- Conduct basic maintenance on tools and workshop equipment.
- Assist with tyre checks, wheel nut tightening, and fluid top-ups.
- Report defects, safety concerns, or breakdown risks.
- Safety, Compliance & Workshop Standards
- Follow OHS, workshop safety, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area.
- Ensure correct and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Assist with record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Support emergency repairs and collaborate with team members for vehicle readiness.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks related to fleet maintenance and workshop operations.
