About the Role
HD Transmissions, a leading specialist in heavy-duty automatic transmissions, is seeking a highly organized and professional Secretary / Administrative Assistant to manage front-desk operations and provide administrative and clerical support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct calls professionally
- Handle messages and customer/supplier communication
- Welcome clients and manage reception area
- Record and prepare daily meeting minutes
- Maintain filing systems and company documentation
- Manage emails, correspondence, and general office tasks
- Monitor office supplies, stationery, and refreshments
- Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and service providers
- Assist with booking appointments and general office logistics
- Assist with job card processing and document control
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs and company assets
- Support stock take capturing and reporting
- Process supplier invoices and purchase orders
- Assist with overtime records and timesheet checks
- Support accounts/admin team with documentation
