Job Description
– Ensure compliance with all Food Safety and Quality standards within the plant
– Monitor and maintain HACCP systems and procedures
– Ensure adherence to FSSC 22000 standards and company policies
– Conduct regular food safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
– Maintain accurate food safety records, reports, and documentation
– Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions
– Ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the production process
– Assist with internal and external food safety audits
– Conduct food safety awareness and compliance checks within the workplace
– Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure continuous compliance and improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
– Grade 12 / Matric
– 2–3 years’ proven experience within a Food Safety role in a manufacturing or food production environment
– Strong knowledge and understanding of HACCP and FSSC 22000
– Food Safety training certificates will be advantageous
– Computer Literate
– Good communication and administrative skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
