About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller/Financial Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group CFO, taking ownership of financial reporting, operational finance, and governance across multiple group entities and SPVs. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in multi-entity structures, property finance, and complex reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and group consolidations
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls and reporting processes
- Oversee property and operational finance, cash flow, treasury, and budgets
- Ensure tax compliance (VAT, corporate income tax) and liaise with external advisors
- Support lender reporting, monitor loan covenants, and assist with audits
- Analyse data from property management systems (MDA / MRI or similar)
Requirements
- CA(SA), CIMA, or strong Financial Manager with property finance experience
- 510 years of financial management experience, ideally in property/real estate or multi-entity environments
- Strong financial reporting, management accounting, Excel, and modelling skills
- Knowledge of property accounting systems and South African tax compliance
