About the Role

A well-established company within the FMCG sector is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to take ownership of the design, development, and enhancement of Business Intelligence (BI) and MIS systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand operational needs and deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data pipelines
  • Perform data collection, validation, cleansing, and preprocessing
  • Provide insights on pricing models, margin analysis, and cost trends
  • Compile reports on break-even points, product margins, and profitability
  • Present findings using data visualisation tools and reporting techniques
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and rapid feedback to management
  • Assist with audits, including data investigations and anomaly detection
  • Train end-users on dashboards and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with IT, developers, and management to improve systems and processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation
