About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, administration, and maintenance services to enable the stability, availability, and continuous operation of the Enterprise Systems Divisions Oracle platform landscape. This includes supporting multiple modules within Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion HCM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical administration, operational support, and maintenance services across all in-scope Oracle platforms.
- Manage system environments, including monitoring, performance optimisation, and environment stability.
- Execute and support system upgrades, patches, and release cycles for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Support key business milestones and critical processing periods, including:
- Oracle EBS application upgrades
- System administration
- Patch cycles
- Quarterly Oracle Fusion HCM patch release cycles
- Performance evaluation and performance contracting cycles
- Payroll tax year-end processing
- Financial year-end processing
- Compensation cycles for annual increases and bonuses
- Resolve technical incidents and service requests in line with agreed operational timelines and service levels.
- Support and maintain integrations, interfaces, workflows, and reporting components to ensure continuity of end-to-end business processes.
- Provide technical support during high-risk and time-critical processing periods to ensure system availability, integrity, and reliability.
Requirements
- At least eight (8) years experience as an Oracle E-Business technical resource in a project and/or support environment.
- Proven experience with:
- Oracle EBS Open Interfaces Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- REST APIs
- Data conversions and integrations
- Strong capability to design, architect, and develop technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance, testing, and release management practices.
- A good understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated client orientation, problem-solving ability, decision-making skills, time management, and teamwork.
