Registration No. 2022/876857/07 Duties & Responsibilities
- Pre-start safety checks: Inspect crane, hydraulics, ropes, outriggers and complete the daily logbook.
- Safe site set-up: Assess ground, clear overhead power lines, deploy outriggers with pads and barricade slew zone
- Load handling: Lift and place materials safely without risk to people or property.
- Legal compliance: Operate within the OHS Act and Driven Machinery Regs.
- Communication: Work with Banksman / Riggers using hand signals or radio.
- Documentation: Update crane logbook, report incidents and near misses.
Experience & Qualification
- Valid code C1 / EC driver’s licence
- HIAB Crane Operator Certificate.
- 3-5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Rigging and Slinging Certificate – Advantageous.
