About the Role

The Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced Internal Marketing Manager to join our team in Somerset West, South Africa. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with local and international producers, negotiating trade agreements, and expanding our client base. If you have a strong background in global fresh fruit marketing/trading and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement: Work with South African producers requiring fluency in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written), manage relationships with existing producer base/growers with a focus on citrus.
  • Trading/Marketing: Negotiate with buyers/client, expand client base, manage international customer/client relationships, analyze exported volumes and reaction planning.

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in global fresh fruit marketing/trading from South Africa as well as local procurement within the fresh produce export industry in South Africa
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team mindset
  • An additional language will be advantageous but not a requirement
