A luxury safari lodge in Botswana is seeking a highly organised and operationally focused BACK OF HOUSE to join its hospitality team. This role is ideal for a structured and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all behind-the-scenes lodge operations while supporting high luxury service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily back-of-house operations including housekeeping coordination, stock control, staff supervision, stores management, and operational administration. This position requires strong organisational skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to manage multiple operational functions in a remote luxury lodge environment. Candidate Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all back-of-house lodge operations and daily workflows Supervise housekeeping operations and ensure high cleanliness and presentation standards Manage stock control, stores, and inventory across departments Coordinate procurement and supply deliveries with operations and suppliers Maintain staff accommodation standards and back-of-house facilities Assist with operational planning and daily lodge logistics Ensure accurate record keeping, stock takes, and administrative reporting Support department heads with operational coordination and communication Ensure compliance with lodge operational standards and procedures Monitor back-of-house efficiency and implement improvements where needed Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and team coordination Ensure smooth operational support across all departments Core Criteria: Proven experience as a Back of House Manager or in a similar lodge operations role Previous experience in luxury lodge or remote hospitality environment essential Strong organisational and administrative skills Experience with stock control, housekeeping coordination, and operational logistics Strong leadership and team management ability High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Good communication and coordination skills Professional and reliable work ethic This is a live-in position.
