Financial Controller Popular Luxury Family Resort, Zanzibar Our client operates a busy fully inclusive beach resort in Zanzibar and they are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to join the team. With over 170 rooms, three restaurants and four bars, candidates must be used to managing all aspects of a high volume financial operation. The client is looking for candidates with a proven track record who bring value and who are able to support the General Manager and who can display a stable tenure in their last three positions Key attributes : Prior African experience is a pre-requisite for this role Experience working in fully inclusive properties would be a big plus Very strong on all financial controls especially credit control and stock control Very hands on and prepared to assist in all departments where necessary Proactive and attention to detail oriented Able to manage suppliers effectively Strong on all aspects of Property Management Systems, especially Point of Sale Experienced in operating similar sized luxury operations Skilled in all aspects of the budget process Tough; firm and fair Used to managing a multicultural team of at least 20 people in the department Honest; with exemplary work ethics and integrity Comfortable dealing with owners Remuneration Package Salary US$4,500 net per month Accommodation provided Medical cover All meals Annual flight home Single status only Starting Date : ASAP Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
