About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Farm Manager SA, where you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to customers while building long-term relationships with them. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and promote products
- Build long term relationships with customers
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Take responsibility for customer complaints and actively work to resolve them
- Manage sales team, Drafts person & marketing activities
- Address internal staff issues (Sales department)
- Oversee annual sales budget, territory estimates & market potential
- Admin duties
Requirements
- Diploma in Marketing / Sales advantageous
- At least 3 years Sales Manager experience
- Agricultural background essential
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce and seasonal variations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have strong leadership and communications skills
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skill
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
