About the Role
The Tyre Bay Foreman is a key leadership position responsible for managing and developing the staff at Tyre Bay, ensuring productivity and efficiency standards are met, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, demonstrate strong communication skills, and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Tyre Bay staff
- Monitor and maintain Tyre Bay productivity and efficiency standards
- Improve Customer Service levels
- Ensure the workplace is neat and tidy at all times
- Provide efficient and effective communication
- Monitor administration processes
- Monitor quality standards and legal requirements
- Perform all tyre maintenance services in accordance with Company specifications
- Manage risk and OHS Act compliance
- Lead and manage a team
- Conduct and manage in and after hour tyre breakdowns
- Analyze scrap and report on findings
- Manage CPK of individual tyre brands
Requirements
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 3 qualification
- Minimum 5-year practical experience in the tyre industry
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of tyre surveys
- Valid Code 8 drivers license
- Onsite tyre maintenance and management experience an advantage
- Good computer skills and understanding of management systems
- Good knowledge of OTR, Commercial and passenger tyres
