About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician to join our team in Springs, South Africa. As a critical member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch IT support and troubleshooting services to our clients. You will work independently and under pressure to resolve complex technical issues, while also being able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general IT support and troubleshooting services to clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL, including writing stored procedures and reports
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook to manage client relationships and communicate with team members
- Maintain strong networking knowledge to ensure seamless connectivity and data transfer
- Work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve complex technical issues
- Provide excellent user-support services to clients
Requirements
- Strong general IT support and troubleshooting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong SQL knowledge, including writing stored procedures and reports
