About the Role Location: Stellenbosch – Cape Town Reporting to: Branch Director. Role Overview: The Commercial Real Estate Broker is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial property transactions across office and industrial sectors. The role operates within a highly competitive, open-mandate environment where multiple brokerages have access to the same stock. Success is driven by execution, client acquisition, deal-making ability, and consistent pipeline development rather than access to exclusive listings. The broker is expected to operate at a high-performance level, taking ownership of both tenant and landlord relationships, while actively driving revenue through leasing and sales transactions. Key Responsibilities – Source new tenants, buyers, and landlords through proactive outreach – Build and manage a consistent, active deal pipeline – Identify suitable properties and match them to client requirements – Structure and negotiate lease and sale transactions – Manage deals end-to-end through to conclusion – Provide clients with accurate market insights and rental benchmarks – Maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and decision-makers Requirements – Commercial real estate experience advantageous but not essential – Open to candidates with strong sales or business development backgrounds – Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – Strong business development and prospecting ability – High level of self-discipline and consistency – Commercial mindset with the ability to understand and structure deals – Ability to operate in a performance-driven, commission-only environment – Highly driven and results-oriented – Competitive and resilient – Takes full ownership of pipeline and performance – Comfortable working independently without reliance on leads
