About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Online Integration Specialist to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our integration function, you will be responsible for supporting and staging biller integrations, participating in various IT integration functions, and providing technical support to clients post-integration. Your expertise in SQL, IT systems monitoring, and customer support will be essential in ensuring seamless connectivity between systems and guiding clients through the integration process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and stage monitoring of Biller Integrations
  • Participating in various IT integration functions
  • Ad hoc report generation using SQL
  • Monitoring transaction irregularities in the value chain from Retailer to Biller
  • Consulting with clients to guide them through integration requirements and processes
  • Providing technical support to clients post-integration, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ensuring seamless connectivity between systems and assisting clients through the integration process
  • Understanding technical documentation and solution design to advise clients effectively
  • Investigating application logs and conducting test transactions in live environments
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve integration-related issues

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary IT qualification
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role, including experience in SQL, IT systems monitoring, MS Office suite (specifically MS Excel), and customer support
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry with a focus on the payments industry and the understanding of reconciliation and settlement processes will be beneficial

Qualifications

  • Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
  • Good understanding of Afrikaans
  • Any additional language is seen as beneficial
