Job Description
-
Support the Finance Manager by assisting with inventory and production accounting, treasury functions, digitising trim store records, and the development and implementation of a production accounting system

Manage the Creditors processing function
-
Prepare monthly VAT calculations
-
Maintain and update the fixed asset register
-
Process payroll journals
-
Calculate commissions and process journal entries
-
Perform GL reconciliations (excluding inventory and production-related accounts)
-
Complete intercompany reconciliations
-
Assist with: year-end audit preparation and supervision of document extraction, participation in system selection, development, and implementation projects, and improving reporting timelines and assisting with management accounts preparation

Recently qualified CA(SA)
-
Experience with both Xero and Pastel Partner advantageous
-
Strong personality with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
-
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical ability
-
Eager to learn and gain exposure across various areas of finance and operations
