Job Description

This is a dual-function role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining immaculate standards across both housekeeping and scullery duties. The successful candidate will be comfortable alternating between guest room preparation, laundry management, and the upkeep of shared guest-facing spaces- all within a remote, five-star bush environment where attention to detail is non-negotiable.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain immaculate cleanliness and presentation of all guest rooms and suites
  • Manage all laundry requirements, including washing, drying, pressing, and turnaround
  • Perform thorough scullery duties, including the cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen area
  • Ensure all public areas- including the lobby, seating areas, library, guest toilets, and entrance- are clean and well-presented at all times
  • Prepare the lodge and guest accommodation for arrivals in line with five-star standards
  • Maintain high hygiene standards throughout all areas of responsibility
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to management promptly
  • Support the broader housekeeping team as required
