Job Description

REQUIREMENT:
* RSA ID and legal residence essential
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Proven track record in Food & Beverage management
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
* Guest-oriented with a strong service mindset
* Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
* Strong financial acumen and reporting ability
* Valid Driver’s License essential
* Matric (further qualification advantageous)
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
* Working knowledge of PMS systems (Opera & Symphony advantageous)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards
* Assist senior management in the day-to-day operational running
* Monitor and enforce policies, procedures, and financial controls
* Lead, recruit, train, and appraise the F&B team
* Establish and manage targets, KPIs, rosters, and SOPs
* Drive a culture of teamwork, motivation, and service excellence
* Identify guest needs and respond proactively to concerns
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Oversee reporting on sales, productivity, and operational performance
* Manage staff training and development programs
* Coordinate and monitor F&B rosters and operations
* Assist with financial management and reporting
* Act as Manager on Duty when required
* Support front-of-house operations including guest hosting and check-ins when needed
* Ensure clear communication across all departments
PACKAGE:
* Salary: R18 000 – R20 000 CTC
* Provident Fund (5% contribution)
* Medical Aid available as part of CTC
* Live-in accommodation provided
* Meals provided while on duty
