About the Role

The Group Reporting Manager at Communicate Finance is responsible for leading the financial reporting cycle, ensuring compliance with IFRS, JSE listing requirements and regulatory disclosures, and managing group consolidations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review annual, interim and monthly Group financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, JSE listing requirements and regulatory disclosures
  • Manage group consolidations, including UK consolidation and foreign currency translation
  • Lead the financial reporting cycle and manage reporting timelines
  • Perform and review complex IFRS assessments and technical accounting memos
  • Act as primary liaison with external auditors and support audit processes
  • Oversee tax compliance, VAT submissions and REIT reporting requirements

Requirements

  • 4–5 years’ postarticles experience
  • Strong exposure to IFRS and group reporting
  • Tax compliance experience required
  • CaseWare experience advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong reportwriting ability

Qualifications

Qualified CA(SA) (or equivalent)
