Job Summary

Responsibilities: Supervise and evaluate the performance of team personnel; provide and/or conduct staff development and training of the staff. Weekly recon of stock / freight supplier accounts for review to the CEO and CFO. Compiling the creditors payment list weekly for the CFO. Ensure the Customer / Supplier invoices and credit notes are aligned and captured correctly. Ensure that the leadership team have accurate and timely financial information. Update the excel bank recon sheet daily (Dollar). Review and sign off bank recons daily. Process bank transfers/ deals (FEC). Process foreign outward payments. Compile monthly management accounts. Reconcile creditors accounts. Maintain and evaluate fixed asset accounts. Reconcile debtor accounts. Monitor control accounts. Monitor, review, and approve documentation related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory. Requesting and checking budgets Create working papers for provisions and revisions. Compile the VAT201 report. Compare the VAT404 with VAT201 reports. Requesting ISA statements and pass entries and reconcile. Process relevant month end journals. Keep FAR up to date with any additional assets. Process monthly the depreciation journal to Pastel and reconcile to FAR. File assets invoices for record keeping purposes and upload it to the cloud-based system. Draft new job descriptions/scopes for the finance department and posting of new appointments. Liaise with the recruitment agencies regarding new posts and be part of the interview panel. Assisting with year-end audits and working papers. Formulate methods to improve finances and develop recommendations concerning the companys financial position. Plan, review, and update or revise automated and manual reporting systems for the company as appropriate. Lead and assist your team and ensure deadlines are met. Development of work plans and communication of those plans both verbally and in writing. Requirements: BCom in Finance. Minimum of 3 -5 years working experience in a similar role. Take responsibility for content and quality of assigned work. Meeting the deadlines. Delegation of work and holding of subordinates appropriately accountable. Understanding of financial software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage and guide employees with the financial processes. An understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. An understanding of South African financial regulations, tax laws and accounting standards. Have the ability to lead a team. Experience in dealing with foreign currency and exchange rates. This role requires someone that has knowledge of accounting theories, principles and practices. You also need to be an effective leader and create a shared vision of the companys goals. You should have the ability to plan, organize, direct and control the activities, functions and personnel in the finance team.

Job Summary

Job Description: Contribute to the development and implementation of the finance strategy Oversee financial processes including accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and audits Prepare and manage various internal and external financial reports Handle banking relationships, systems, administration, and payment processes Ensure accurate recording and analysis of accounting entries Participate in ad hoc tasks and cross-functional business projects Skills & Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of financial control environments and governance Experience with accounting consolidation is advantageous Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel (intermediate to advanced level) Qualification: Degree in Finance or a related field Contact: Robyn Peskin, quoting the Ref: CFA020519

Job Summary

Youll oversee local and foreign banking operations , support and enhance banking systems, and manage the month-end close process for treasury , all while guiding a dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is both strategic and hands-on , requiring top-tier attention to detail and effective communication with internal and external stakeholdersincluding banks, auditors, and executive leadership . Key Responsibilities Include: Full oversight of bank and GL account reconciliations , ensuring accuracy and discrepancy resolution Shape and enforce banking policies and procedures across teams and stores Proactively manage relationships with local and international banks Collaborate with IT Finance to improve system performance and prioritise banking enhancements Ensure accurate daily cash flow forecasting and execution of investments, disbursements, and funding Manage banking agreements, covenants, and funding submissions to meet contractual obligations Lead the petty cash function , internal audits, and compliance documentation Assist in secretarial support for Investment Committee meetings and ensure timely reporting to institutions Support your team through mentorship, succession planning, and day-to-day operational guidance What Youll Bring: Strong background in banking, treasury, or finance operations (high-volume experience a bonus) A calm, structured approach to complex deadlines and multi-stakeholder environments A sharp eye for process improvement , systems, and policy optimisation Proven experience balancing strategic thinking with operational execution A track record of tenure, leadership, and trust-building within finance teams Qualification: AGA(SA) / PA(SA) / Degree Honours Minimum 5 8 years commercial experience in a similar role Contact CORNE JONKER on

Job Summary

Job & Company Description: This entrepreneurial, solutions-driven business in the manufacturing and project delivery space is expanding and requires a hands-on Financial Manager to align group reporting, manage consolidations, and support the integration of two dynamic entities. The role offers a platform to make real impact across operations, finance, and strategy, while working closely with leadership in an exciting and evolving environment. Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full accounting function across the group, including financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance. Prepare and present monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and drive financial efficiency across the group. Ensure statutory compliance, including SARS submissions, audits, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and key stakeholders. Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development. Drive financial planning, cost control, and business partnering initiatives. Requirements: Qualified CA(SA). Minimum of 6 years post-article experience, preferably within a group of companies. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial regulations. Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar). Proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven mindset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Summary

My client is seeking a Financial Manager who has a proven track record in a senior management role within financial services and who is passionate about financial data, collaborating with people and enhancing financial performance. If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulations, then apply today! Responsibilities: Provide strategic input to the company’s leadership team on best practice, regulatory compliance and the development of long-term strategic financial plans for all entities that fall under the company brand/umbrella Financial Management and Reporting: Identify cost management opportunities for ensuring improved profitability and returns; plan and manage the budget process, analyse and monitor the effect of budget or policy changes and recommend correction and improvements Audit Management: Assist the Head Finance individual in planning, managing the outcomes and solutions for the company’s group audit process Procurement Management: Manage procurement risks, quality and governance standards and ensure compliance; manage Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and ensure effective alignment with company requirements Risk & Compliance: Provide input to the Risk Strategy and manage/mitigate any financial risks for the company Requirements: CA(SA) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management accounting role within the Financial Services industry Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulations Strong financial technical skills, financial analysis and analytical skills IT Skills (Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Microsoft Excel) Please note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful – please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.

Job Summary

Job Summary

Financial Reporting and Compliance Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with the drafting and finalisation of Annual Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. Support external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and providing required documentation. Budgeting and Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads and senior leadership. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights. Prepare rolling forecasts and assist with long-term financial planning. Cash Flow and Treasury Management Manage and monitor daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity. Oversee banking relationships, foreign currency transactions, and international payments. Assist in treasury planning, including the management of short-term investments and funding strategies. Tax and Audit Compliance Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT, PAYE, income tax, and other statutory returns. Maintain readiness for internal and external audits, and address audit findings promptly. Stay up to date with local and international tax regulations applicable to the business. Staff and Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals. Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure continuous improvement within the finance team. Provide guidance on accounting practices, internal controls, and finance systems. Process Improvement and Systems Oversight Evaluate and enhance current financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Implement internal controls and financial governance policies. Assist in ERP or accounting software optimization or upgrades. Operational and Strategic Support Collaborate with the Senior Financial Manager in providing strategic financial input to operations. Support cross-functional teams with financial modelling and data analysis for decision-making. Participate in commercial and operational projects that impact financial performance. Ad Hoc Financial Projects Take ownership of special projects such as cost-reduction initiatives, profitability analysis, or system migrations. Support business expansion or restructuring efforts with financial insight and due diligence. Skills & Experience: Minimum 35 years experience in a financial management role, with staff supervision responsibilities. Skills: Strong technical knowledge (up to drafting financial statements), analytical thinking, people management, and working knowledge of international trade, forex, and exports. Industry Knowledge: Manufacturing experience is advantageous; exposure to international clients and export operations is a plus.
