About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to drive complex engineering development, installation, and service delivery projects across Africa and international markets. As a seasoned professional, you will lead high-impact engineering and mining projects, overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and successful execution of engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver multiple engineering, mining, and technical projects across Africa and international markets
- Oversee project planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams spanning mechanical, electronic, software, and hardware disciplines
- Drive engineering development and product innovation initiatives aligned to business strategy
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, Statements of Work, and project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, operational, and governance standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous process improvement
- Support installations, commissioning, field trials, proof of concepts, and client engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial, or related)
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
