About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Burgersfort, with a strong background in the mining environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and assessments to identify potential issues
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation of production lines
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Completed Apprenticeship in Fitting (Trade Test)
- Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 and/or 26)
- 2 years experience in the mining environment
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
