About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse/Storeroom Supervisor to join our team in Port Elizabeth-Newton Park. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring seamless delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
⪠Supervise daily warehouse and storeroom operations
⪠Manage receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, and stock allocation
⪠Ensure accurate inventory control and cycle counts
⪠Monitor stock movement, shortages, damages, and discrepancies
⪠Maintain effective warehouse layout and storage systems
⪠Supervise warehouse staff and delivery drivers
⪠Coordinate driver schedules, deliveries, routes, and vehicle usage
⪠Monitor driver performance, attendance, and delivery efficiency
⪠Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
⪠Coordinate with procurement, workshop, and sales departments
⪠Manage supplier deliveries and returns processes
⪠Ensure ERP/system stock accuracy and reporting
⪠Maintain housekeeping and operational efficiency standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts warehousing or storeroom supervision
- Experience supervising drivers and logistics coordination
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience
- Knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Experience working on ERP / warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership and team management ability
- Good administrative and reporting skills
Qualifications
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license (essential)
