About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse/Storeroom Supervisor to join our team in Port Elizabeth-Newton Park. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring seamless delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Supervise daily warehouse and storeroom operations

▪ Manage receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, and stock allocation

▪ Ensure accurate inventory control and cycle counts

▪ Monitor stock movement, shortages, damages, and discrepancies

▪ Maintain effective warehouse layout and storage systems

▪ Supervise warehouse staff and delivery drivers

▪ Coordinate driver schedules, deliveries, routes, and vehicle usage

▪ Monitor driver performance, attendance, and delivery efficiency

▪ Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures

▪ Coordinate with procurement, workshop, and sales departments

▪ Manage supplier deliveries and returns processes

▪ Ensure ERP/system stock accuracy and reporting

▪ Maintain housekeeping and operational efficiency standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive parts warehousing or storeroom supervision
  • Experience supervising drivers and logistics coordination
  • Strong stock control and inventory management experience
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and components
  • Experience working on ERP / warehouse management systems
  • Strong leadership and team management ability
  • Good administrative and reporting skills

Qualifications

  • Forklift license (advantageous)
  • Valid drivers license (essential)
