About the Role

As a Sales Representative in Johannesburg, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and promoting our data center solutions to key decision-makers. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise, telecoms, cloud, and colocation sectors
  • Promote data center solutions, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, monitoring, and managed services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, consultants, and contractors
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and tender submissions aligned with client requirements
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for driving business growth through cold calling, networking, and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare quotations, pricing, and solution-based proposals
  • Negotiate with clients to close deals
  • Manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Utilize MS Office (especially Excel) and CRM systems effectively

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ proven sales experience within the logistics / freight / supply chain industry
  • Strong knowledge of freight services (air, sea, road), warehousing, distribution, and/or customs clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills
