Cape Town City Centre: Senior Coastal Sales & Operations Administrator – Cape Town, Killarney Gardens – Salary R20 000 CTC (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Role

A leading Speciality Chemicals distributor is seeking a dynamic Senior Administrator to join their Cape Town team in a newly created role. As the “right hand” to the Coastal Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will bridge the gap between sales and supply chain, ensuring customers in the Cape Town, PE, and George regions receive seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the sales force and the supply chain, processing orders, generating quotes, and managing customer queries.
  • Assist with stock forecasting, month-end stock counts, and reporting on slow-moving or expiring stock.
  • Plan regional delivery routes, oversee the dispatch process, and manage POD reconciliations and driver trip sheets.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained to safety standards, manage product life cycles (FIFO), and conduct at least three full stock takes per year.
  • Handle petty cash reconciliations, manage the Geotank register, and process credit notes and supply chain transfers.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent is essential.
  • A qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
  • At least 35 years of experience in Sales Administration (processing invoices, GRVs, credit notes) and Warehouse Administration (route planning, stock counts).
  • Minimum 2 years in a senior/coordinating role.
