Job Description

Job Title: Hotel Security Officer Location: Cape Town Summary: We are seeking a well-groomed and presented individual to join our team as a Hotel Security Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel premises, guests, and staff. Key Responsibilities: – Patrol hotel premises and monitor security systems to identify and address potential safety hazards or security breaches – Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats by maintaining a professional and alert presence at all times – Monitor guest and staff behavior to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures – Respond to and investigate all security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies – Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed – Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with their needs or concerns as necessary – Complete detailed reports of all security incidents and maintain accurate records of security activities Qualifications: – Atleast 3 Years experience in Hospitality Security – Valid Psira certificate (A-C) – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations – Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time – Must have matric Additional Requirements: – Must be well-groomed and presented at all times – Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays – Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening If you meet the qualifications and are interested in joining our team as a Hotel Security Officer, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
