About the Role
The Eastern Cape: Water Filtration Technician role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join Staff Solutions as a key member of our team. As a Water Filtration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water filtration plants and systems, while also providing technical advice and support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain water filtration plants and systems
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair filtration equipment
- Conduct water sampling and quality testing
- Diagnose and resolve system faults
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word essential)
- Familiarity with OHS Construction Regulations (advantageous)
- Technical certification in water treatment or a related field (preferred)
- Plumbing qualification (advantageous, with filtration experience strongly preferred)

Customer & Supplier Liaison
- Engage with suppliers to source appropriate filtration solutions
- Assess client requirements and recommend suitable systems
- Provide technical advice and ongoing support to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Administrative Functions
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals using MS Word and Excel
- Follow up on quotations and maintain client communication
- Manage electronic job cards, ensuring timely updates and completion
- Complete and submit vehicle inspection reports
- Maintain confidentiality of client data and test results
- Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain good housekeeping standards
